Biography

Bernd Bodenmiller is a dual Associate Professor of Quantitative Biomedicine at ETH Zurich and the University of Zurich since 2020. After his studies in Biochemistry at the University of Bayreuth and at ETH Zurich, Bernd continued his education at ETH as doctoral student in the laboratory of Ruedi Aebersold, and obtained his PhD in Systems Biology in 2008. In 2009 Bernd joined the laboratory of Garry Nolan at Standford University, where he worked as Postdoc until 2012. In 2013 Bernd was appointed as SNSF Assistant Professor at the Institute of Molecular Life Sciences at the University of Zurich. Since 2019 he is the founding Director of the Department of Quantitative Bioedicine at the Univesity of Zurich.
