Dr. Jianwen Zhou

I am a postdoc under the supervision of Dr. Werner Kovacs, and I am working on the mechanism of pexophagy regulation and peroxisomes degradation. Before joining the Aceto lab, I have been a Ph.D student and short period postdoc in the lab of Jörn Dengjel (University of Fribourg, Switzerland), where I studied protein post-translational modification in autophagy regulation by mass spectrometry-based proteomics, especially protein ubiquitination and phosphorylation (e.g. see Kolitsida et al., PNAS, 2019). I have received my M.Sc from Capital Normal University (Beijing) and B.Sc from Huaibei Normal University (Anhui) in China.
